Pressure Monitoring

Fluid Temperature

Disposable pressure sensor is primarily used during surgical procedures and in ICUs to monitor a patient´s heart rate and blood pressure. The pressure sensor is in direct contact with saline solution within a flow-thru housing designed by the customer. Ventilator machines are needed to provide assisted (fully or partially) breathing for people with respiratory disease and for people on life support. Both the gauge and differential versions are used to control the amount of air pressure delivered to the patient´s lungs. More critical ventilator applications are those for neonatal care. An important parameter for the physician to monitor is the pressure within a woman´s uterus. This information plays a critical role for the decisions made by physicians and leads to less complications during childbirth. In addition a pressure sensor is used to monitor and treat people with sleep disorders caused by respiratory issues.
